I was very impressed with your website and must congratulate ken Wright for his compilation. It's obvious a lot of work has gone into this. Well done. I grew up and lived in Bo'Ness in Dawson Place until the late 1980's and remember our back garden subsiding due to mine works. Our gran used to call the nearby bing we played on the "thirteen" as it was spoil from that pit apparently. I've just read on your site the location of the No.13 at Borroustoun farm so this makes sense. Also the Mr. Foye mentioned on the site who swam the Forth was related to my gran's father and this was a well known accomplishment amoong the family.
